It is unfortunate that allergies are affecting more and more families. As a result, Benadryl has become a staple of first aid kits, diaper bags, and handbags. My son has food allergies, so I know firsthand.
For years I have toted around a leaky bottle of Benadryl and measuring spoon or cup in a zip top plastic bag. On more than one occasion this has created an inconvenient mess.
Well, thankfully, those days are gone. Benadryl has introduced Benadryl Perfect Measure. This is a box of prefilled disposable vials or “spoons”. Each spoon contains 5ml (1 teaspoon) of Benadryl liquid. Just twist off the top of the spoon and you are set. (Of course, you will still need to determine the correct dose for your child’s weight.)
No more measuring, no more mess.

That’s pretty cool.
I wonder, though, so they have a med to counteract the Benadryl?
I have yet to give it to my kids cuz I am really REALLY allergic to Benadryl and am scared they might be too. Kind of crazy to be allergic to this stuff, huh?
Allergic to Benadryl? That’s a tough one. With so many products on the market now, I bet your doctor can recommend some other alternative.
i am highly allergic to bee & wasp stings, so the benadryl perfect measure is a godsend for me. i carry around a dose with me from early spring to late fall. carrying around anything else is cumbersome and inconvenient.

The single dose spoons are very convenient. But – if you don’t have one already – I would look into getting a prescription for an epi-pen as well.
Allergies are so scary – you can never be too cautious.
Are these still available? The ones we have expired, and we haven’t been able to find them at either the grocery store or Walmart
