Nintendo DS Lite for Grandma?

What are you getting grandma for the holidays?

Have you consdered a Nintendo DS Lite? What - grandma playing video games? You bet.

Actually, my mom is a big Sudoku and puzzle fan. She recently picked up her own Nintendo DS Liteand Brain Age 2 (which is a game that contains tons of Sudoku puzzles and other mind challenging activities).

And the rest as they say, is history.

Now when I when issue the parenting command, “Enough electronic time, turn it off!” I also have to add, “That includes you, grandma!”

Neena, SO funny — guess what I got for my 40th birthday?! I am firmly convinced it helped loosen up my brain for the GRE, and I still enjoy Brain Age 2, when I’m waiting in carpool line or anywhere. One of our friends got his wife (age 45) the Brain Age 2 DS Lite for her birthday, too, because my hubby told him how much I liked mine. My 2nd favorite game is Big Brain Academy, for a little variety!! ;-)

I just purchased the DS Lite (age 33) because my mom purchased one and raved about it. I play more games than just Brain Age 2, but BA2 is still one of my favorites.

How cute. We got my dad one for Christmas last year. I have one and Love it but I tend to lean more toward the Mario games :)

    Tamara,
I knew it was not just for kids - why should they have all the fun?
