I just recently purchased the ipod touch to use as a PDA. I want to move from the Palm for the reasons you gave. Can you please tell me exactly what to do to sync my Palm Tungsten E2 with the ipod? I would be most grateful. Thanks,

The iPod touch isn’t as fully featured as a Palm PDA, but since Palm hasn’t released any new devices since 2005 I’m looking at buying an iPod Touch as a PDA. It’s surprisingly cost-effective, and “just works”, unlike the more powerful but often finicky PalmOS devices.

I just purchased an iPod Touch to replace my Palm Tungsten E2 PDA…I’ve already been able to “migrate” my calendar entries and contacts from the Palm to the iPod Touch using iSync that came with my Mac iBook G4. I’m now looking for a way to get all my Memos off my Palm on onto my iPod…I’ll Google iPod Notes mentioned above…
I bought the iPod Touch for two reasons – my iPod Mini was too small to hold all my music and my Palm is going to die soon. I like all the features on the Touch.

Any ideas on wireless keyboards? Typing is a must for input versus finger-poking a tiny screen one letter at a time.

If you have any iPod Touch tricks or mac tricks, for that matter, to share – I would love to hear them! I have just been trying out Bento, it’s a bit tricky but hopefully it will prove to be useful.

Hi there, im not a perant, i just came on here after a google search for PDA + touch.

first off, great ideas to use touch as a PDA,

just wanted to let you know that i came accross a program called iPod Notes wich does let you sync your ntoes to your mac. dono if this is any help to you, just thought id let you know.
