I also been eying my food storage canisters with suspicion. Stainless steel must be the way to go. All of my Rubbermaid's and Ziploc syle containers are labeled with a number 5 and PP which means that they should not contain BPA. But generally I try to use glass for leftovers. Billy,

Luckily we bpa-free options online now.... like www.newbornfree.com for plastic baby bottles or www.titanwaterbottle.com for bpa-free reusable water bottles (for adults).
