Abba Mama Mia

I am an Abba fan. And for years I have been trying to catch the Mama Mia musical to no avail.
It’s been a little hard to find the time.
But, lucky me, now there is a movie - which I hear is fantastic. But have not yet seen.

In the meantime, I came across this excellent article about Abba. Lots of interesting trivia about a band that has endured the times. And if you want to see what they look like now (or at least a few years ago) … there is a pic as well.
Have you seen the movie?
Have you taken the kids? It is PG-13. Is this show appropriate for kids younger than that?
Give me your parenting tips.

Just literally got back from the movie- it was awesome. I was surprised to see quite a few younger children at the show. The all seemed to be enjoying themselves, singing along. I would take my kids to it. There was one very quick naked behind, but if you blink you could miss it.

I would love to hear more opinions about the movie as well. My 11 year old daughter wants to see it, but some of the previews I’ve seen look like the content might be too much for her. She loved Hairspray, which was only rated PG, but I’m just not too sure about this one. So I may just have to watch it myself first, and see if it would be appropriate for her.

@Dana, that’s kind of where I’m at. I don’t want to answer questions about why she doesn’t know who her dad is. My 12 year old will get it, but still…
