Labor and Delivery Meme

In honor of Labor Day, Shannon over at the most excellent blog -  Rocks in My Dryer - has posted a Labor and Delivery Meme.

1. How long were your labors?

Short. The almost too short to get to the hospital kind of short.

2. How did you know you were in labor?

With my first child my water broke. With the rest, the pain was kind of a clue.

3. Where did you deliver?

Thankfully, all were delivered safely in hospitals despite the short labors.

4. Drugs?

Yes, if there was enough time. With the fourth, there was no time.

5. C-Section?

No.

6. Who delivered?

Doctors. Although with the second, the doctor had not yet arrived at the hospital, and the nurses were telling me to wait just a few more minutes. As if I had a choice? (go figure.)

Thanks Michal! I am happy that you noticed the site design. I’ve been wanting to change it for awhile and finally just did it. I still have to tweak the sidebars a little but for the most part it is done.

Wow, lots of meme participants had nice fast labors and not a lot of c-sections! I like your site too by the way - it’s a simple but pretty design!

Thanks Laurie - I like your site too. It was interesting to read your labor experience - and your success with VBAC. I love your blog header - so cute!

    Kama,
Congratulations on your soon-to-be newest family member! Take the labor stories with a grain of salt, each one is different. One way or another - the baby is coming out - and then you will have your own story to tell. :)
