I am so happy to hear from you! How are you?

You are right – I spend every minute of that time organizing our family life, volunteering at school or for PTA, running errands, and generally working to keep our household engine running smoothly. Once the kids get home I turn into the chauffeur and spend the time driving the kids all around town for their activities,

Dinner needs to be prepared or at the very least planned before 3 pm. Some people wonder why I am cooking dinner at 10 am – but there is no better time to do it.

But enough ranting, parenting is a full time job – and kids are not required to be around 24 hours a day to get the job done!

I hear you! This is my second year of having no kids at home, and I find myself just as busy, except our family life is much more orderly and calm. It bugs me when people assume just because I have 5 1/2 hours a day “alone” that I don’t have anything to do (whatever). I think my whole family appreciates the benefits of me being at home for now.

Now that all the kids are in school I am realizing how crazy it was when they were home all day. That pace and chaos became my norm. It is eye opening to see how much I can get done in a short amount of time when I have “alone” time every day.

Can’t wait for those tips because I’m one of those moms that has way too much to do…yet I can’t seem to stop or turn anything off.
