Simon and Schuster recently sent me a copy of the book The Boss Baby by Marla Frazee to review. This childrens book is nothing short of cute.
We all know who becomes boss when a baby arrives in the house – and in this tale it is painfully obvious.
The little dude who is running the show (check out his business suit sleeper) puts mom and dad on a work schedule, holds meetings day and night, and gets quite a few job perks – including an executive gym.
Parents will be chuckling their way through this story. But it’s message may be lost on an only child. This book is ideal for an older sibling that has a new baby sister or brother in the house. It will help them to understand, in a funny way, that all babies require lots and lots of mom and dad’s attention.
All in all The Boss Baby is a nice addition to the family library.
