While many people chose to relax this past Turkey weekend – I decided to put the troops to work and rearrange the furniture.
What I realized is that many of my cabinets are filled with old photo albums – from the pre-digital age.
Yes – dinosaurs do live here.
These albums are taking up valuable and much needed space.
Space that I want to reclaim.
But what should I do with those albums?
I have spent the entire day today scanning photos onto my computer.
But it has been tedious work and very slow going.
I am not sure how long I will keep it up before I give up.
And then there is the matter of the actual pictures. Even though they are scanned – I might not be able to bear the thought of just throwing them away.
I need ideas ladies.
Do tell – how do you manage your old photo collections?
Do you harden your heart and toss away the old stuff? Or are you the nostalgic type – making space where there is none for all of those old dusty memories?
