Internet Business

It’s kind of creepy – yet pretty amazing.

Yesterday, I was browsing a furniture site. I found a chair that I liked. And I found an ottoman from a different collection on the same site that I liked.

I bookmarked them – spent a little time imagining how they would look in my family room – and then moved on.

Fast forward to today.

I was checking my website stats. And right there in the sidebar was an ad. An ad that featured the exact store that I was browsing in yesterday.

Unremarkable, I know.

An ad that had little snapshots stacking up – seemingly random.

But – no – the first snapshot featured the exact chair that I was looking at yesterday. And the second one was a picture of the ottoman.

The rest were matching pieces in both collections.

Whooo-wee!

Big brother is no longer the future – it is here NOW!

I can’t figure out if I should have the eebie jeebies – or if I should be impressed.

Whatever it is – I should be careful … he is probably reading this post right now!
