families

I am curious.

I want to know how all of you use social media.

You know – twitter, facebook, etc.

Do you use these sites to keep in touch with family and friends – to promote your business – to meet new people?

How much time do you spend updating your tweets and pages? or just browsing around?

And how old are your kids? Do you work outside the home?

Questions, questions – why so many questions?

Honestly, I’m feeling a little behind the times. As much as I try – I can’t seem to fit social media into my schedule regularly – for personal or business reasons. There just is not enough time in the day.

My kids are getting older – and between homework and activities, my afternoons and evenings are dedicated to them.

The daytime goes fast – between the few sites that I am working on.

So – tweeting is not happening.

And with all of the privacy issues – I hesitate to put pictures and personal stuff out there for all to see.

Again – my kids are getting older. While I love all the cute pics of the babies and the little ones, as kids get older – they really don’t want their MOM posting stuff about them on the net. I mean, really, what would their friends think!

So tell me about you – your families, your work, and how and why you use social media.

I want to know.
