Littlest Pet Shop VIP’s have Arrived in New York City

If you happen to be anywhere near New York City next week, you will have to stop down at the Littlest Pet Shop VIP Boutique pop up store. This is something you won’t want to miss!

Hasbro has taken their very popular Littlest Pet Shop line and brought them to “life”. Enter Littlest Pet Shop VIP’s. These are adorable stuffed animals (my kids can’t put them down!) that have an online persona as well. Each animal comes with a secret code that allows you to set up their online version. I haven’t thoroughly explored their online world, so I will write about that next week. But I wanted to spread the word NOW about the pop up Boutique in New York City.

What is a Littlest Pet Shop VIP pop up Boutique, you ask? (I did, too.)
It is an actual hands on playspace and store dedicated to the Littlest Pet Shop VIP’s. When you enter the Boutique you will get a “Kibble Card” with activities you need to complete as you travel through the store. The activities are fun things like playing with the VIP’s online at one of the computer stations, having your picture taken with the VIP’s, and playing a real life version of the Super Sundae game. You then turn in your Kibble Card for some really cool prizes. And, of course, you can shop for your VIP’s here as well. But here’s the catch! The Boutique will only be there for a limited time. Six more days to be exact.

When:

  • Today thru Sunday October 21, 2007
  • And next week on Thursday October 25, 2007 to Sunday October 28, 2007

Where:

  • 587 Fifth Avenue, New York (Between 47th and 48th) - an easy walk from Grand Central Terminal.

If you can’t make it to the boutique, not to worry, the VIP’s are available at HasbroToyShop.com, Amazon.com, and at major retailers in New York City area.

Geography Made Fun

statetris.pngRanda Clay at Free Stuff 4 Kids writes about an Online Tetris Map Game called Statetris.

It is is similar to Tetris in that state shaped blocks fall from the top of the screen and you have to move your arrow keys to postition the state so that it will land in its correct position. There are 3 levels - easy, medium, and hard. Not only can you play the game using the US map but choices include other countries and the State of South Carolina as well.

This is one computer game that you will encourage your children to play!

Dealdotcom (that’s Dealdotcom.com)

There is a new outfit in town called Dealdotcom.

Launching this Tuesday, September 18, Dealdotcom will offer one internet marketing product per day at a deep discount. This means - it will be a great deal. If you do anything internet related there will be something here for you. Of course, quantities will be limited, so it will be important to act quickly.

Dealdotcom also offers another great deal - the affiliate program. For each person that signs up through your link (it is free to sign up), you will get a 35% commission of anything they buy FOREVER! And for everyone that they sign up, you will get a 15% commission on those people’s purchases. Not too shabby.

I figured I would give it a try, after all it is free to sign up. You, too, can give it a try right here - Dealdotcom.

MonkeyBarTV.com

picture-3.pngThere is a new site in town called MonkeyBarTV. The folks at Hasbro have created a fun place for kids to play games, do puzzles, watch videos, and even read comics.

Featuring kid favorite characters like Transformers, GI Joe, Littlest PetShop, Star Wars (my kids love this one), Dream Life Superstar, and Spiderman - there really is something at MonkeyBarTV.com for everyone.

The variety of games is staggering and they are a lot of fun. Take the Star Wars category for example, there are five games to choose from, four videos to watch, and four activities - including a create your own comic book which is very unique. My boys are big comic book fans so they like to play around with this. In addition MonkeyBarTV.com has downloadable desktop art for your computer so you can set your wallpaper to one of your favorite themes.

One interesting feature of MonkeyBarTV.com is the Weekly 100 Tournament. Kids can play the featured game and the top 100 scores of the week will be featured on the MonkeyBarTV Top 100 Board. Those people with the 3 highest scores will win a prize and be included in the MonkeyBarTV 100 Hall of Fame.

MonkeyBarTV.com can keep your kids occupied for hours. It is free to use and family friendly.

For the younger set, there is MonkeyBarTV Jr., so little brothers and sisters won’t feel left out. This site features games and activities from Mr. Potato Head, CandyLand, Tonka, My Little Pony, and Play Doh.

Check out MonkeyBarTV.com for yourself.
