High School Musical 3I just heard that High School Musical 3 – Senior Year is on it’s way!

I don’t know what it is about this series of musicals, but my daughter loves them. She never tires of watching them whenever she gets a chance. I know we were a little slow on the uptake since we missed the first High School Musical entirely. But we have certainly made up for lost time.

However, Disney is doing something different with the third movie – this film will be the first one of the series to be released in theaters. The first two were made for TV.

I wonder if graduation is the end of the road for this popular series or if there will be a freshman year in college sequel?

Stay tuned for more parenting tips about High School Musical 3!

UPDATE: The soundtrack is now available for pre-order.

Youtube and kids

Recently, my fifth grader came home from school with stories of how some of his classmates had created a video and posted it on Youtube. While I was impressed with the kids technical know-how, it also made me wonder if the popular video hosting service is a good playground for 11 year olds. The types [...]

As my kids get older they are always bombarding me with new movie titles. “Can I watch this movie?” or “Can I watch that movie?” If I say no then I get the argument that so and so friend was allowed to watch it. I really can’t go by the standard ratings anymore. We are [...]
